Certificate III in Children's Services is the national qualification for child care workers and will suit those wishing to work with children or already involved in child care.
If you successfully complete the Certificate III in Children's Services you will have learned about Organisational policies, procedures and individual children's profiles to plan activities and provide care to children. Depending on the setting, workers may work under direct supervision or autonomously. In some settings, the worker may also have limited supervisory responsibilities of volunteers. Workers at this level are required to have an understanding of Indigenous culture and history and to work with local communities in the provision of services.

Entrance requirements may vary between various providers. Some providers may require year 12 or that the student be 18 years of 18 before Graduation. A Police check is mandatory.
